Dat je thee of bloemen kunt plukken uit het plantsoen of in een wijk-pluktuin? Of dat je andere buurtbewoners kunt ontmoeten aan de picknicktafel in de verkoelende schaduw van bomen in het plantsoen?<\/p>\n<h3>Idee\u00ebn en wensen<\/h3>\n<p>Vanuit dit soort wensen komt vanaf september 2019 een groeiend aantal Kortenoord-bewoners af en toe bijeen. Ze delen idee\u00ebn en wensen en zo zijn er al\u00a0 verschillende groene verbindingen\u00a0 in de wijk ontstaan. Veel mensen vinden het belangrijk dat de buitenruimte in Kortenoord kleurrijk en divers is, aantrekkelijk om te spelen, en ruimte geeft aan vogels, vlinders en andere natuur. Dat we met elkaar kunnen wonen in een fijne, groene wijk. Bijvoorbeeld in de Job Jansenstraat, rond de Vaas, rond\u00a0 de Speeltuinstrook en langs het fietspad bij de Binnenhaven. Bij <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wageningen.nl\/inwoners\/Openbare_ruimte\/Groen\/Zelf_openbaar_groen_beheren\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8216;Buurtgroen&#8217;<\/a> beheren bewoners zelf kleine stukken groen in plaats van dat de gemeente dat doet. De gemeente ondersteunt de Buurtgroen-initiatieven.<br \/>\nHet is handig om voor alle Buurtgroeninitiatieven in Kortenoord \u00e9\u00e9n overleg met de gemeente te hebben. Door te overleggen en samen op te trekken kunnen we van elkaar leren. Niet alleen over hoe je het groen beheert, maar ook over hoe je andere bewoners betrekt.<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h3><strong>&#8211; Activiteiten in de wijk<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>We organiseren activiteiten rond het groen in de wijk. Zo was er begin januari 2020 een gezellige buurt-nieuwjaars-wandeling om te laten zien welke buurtgroeninitiatieven er allemaal zijn. Er liggen misschien kansen om dat samen te doen met basisschool &#8216;De Zwaneridders&#8217;. Die gaat een nieuwe school bouwen in Nieuw Kortenoord. De school krijgt een wijkfunctie.
