The history of Kortenoord and its surroundings from prehistoric times to the last century
This lecture by Mathilde Maijer includes scientific insights into how the landscape between Wageningen and Rhenen was formed at the intersection of the Gelderse Vallei, Veluwe, Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Rivierengebied. Ice ages and other natural events are discussed, as well as human activities, as recorded on maps and other writings.

The lecture is on Monday 17 March 2025 starts at 20.00 and lasts until approximately 21.30, doors open at 19.45.
This will take place in the community room of Kortenoord, i.e. the Ridderzaal in the Vrije School De Zwaneridder at address Voorburglaan 72, 6709 TS in Wageningen. Around 150 people can be present in this room.
