Cleaning morning Hawthorn hedge
Saturday morning, February 11, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., we will prune the blackberries back in the hawthorn hedge, which lies between Tuinwijk and Buitenoord. This gives the trees and hawthorn bushes the chance to recover. But also to ensure that the blackberries will not proliferate over the green strips and walking paths next to the hedge next spring / summer.
We immediately take out the litter that has recently been blown in from the construction industry.
Will you help us?! Everyone is welcome; Young/old, a lot of energy/little energy, a lot of knowledge/no knowledge.
If you want to make your neighborhood a little more beautiful, you are welcome :).
We gather at the Frans Beijerstraat.
If you don’t have pruning shears and/or gloves, no problem.
Waste pickers and bags are also available. Do you have them: Take them with you!

Green Kortenoord
We did it again. A container full of pruned brambles and many bags full of collected litter (dog waste bags, cans, paper, styrofoam residues, fireworks remnants, plastic bags, and so on and so forth). Nice with such a group of about twenty neighborhood colleagues (old, middle and young).
